El Rey’s has been serving the Beausejour area of the Gros Islet community on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia since March 2007, when they first opened their doors to the general public in order to embrace the World Cup Cricket event at the newly constructed Beausejour Cricket Ground. The name El Rey’s comes direct from the U.K. born & raised owner Len (El Rey) Leon known primarily for introducing Salsa music & dance to St. Lucia nine years ago and continues today as part of the Islands social calendar.

He was nicknamed El Rey while on a salsa trip in Spain when the Movie The Lion King (El Rey Leon) was released.
